FONNA Glacier Ski Resort is located 19km from the center of Jondal, about 25 minutes drive from the fjord to the glacier. The road up to the ski center is a toll road owned and operated by Jondal Municipality and costs NOK 100 per vehicle. The toll includes parking and covers expenses related to plowing and maintenance. The Tørvikbygd - Jondal ferry route can be found here. From Bergen to Jondal and Fonna, the fastest route is via Norheimsund and the car ferry Tørvikbygd-Jondal.

Public bus departs daily from 24.06.2024 from Herand at 09:25 - Jondal at 10:10 to the glacier parking lot / back at 16:30
Skyssruns a bus route from Herand via Jondal up to Folgefonna. This stops at bus stops along the way.
Youcan easily go on a day trip from Bergen or Norheimsund to Fonna by public transport from June to August. Norled offers pre-packaged tours, or you can take a bus/boat on your own.
