FONNA Glacier Ski Resort is located 19km from the center of Jondal, about 25 minutes drive from the fjord to the glacier. The road up to the ski center is a toll road owned and operated by Jondal Municipality and costs NOK 100 per vehicle. The toll includes parking and covers expenses related to clearing and maintenance. The ferry route Tørvikbygd - Jondal can be found here. From Bergen to Jondal and Fonna you drive the fastest via Norheimsund and with the car ferry Tørvikbygd-Jondal.

Public bus

In 2021, there will be public bus transport from Bergen, Herand and Jondal to Fonna in the period 20 June to 09 August. The bus from Jondal runs from 20 June.

‍ Skyss
runs a bus route from Herand via Jondal up to Folgefonna. This stops at bus stops along the road.

‍ You
