In close proximity to Jondal and Folgefonna, you can experience guided kayak trips, via ferrata trails, zip-lines, rock climbing, and just to name a few.
Adventurous Trolltunga has exploded in popularity in recent years. In 2010, less than 1,000 tourists dedicated the trip to the rock formation. The number of visitors is now around 100,000. But before embarking on the popular trip, there are many things to consider.
There are plenty of nice walks in Hardanger. The combination of mountains, fjords and fjords provides a sea of good opportunities. Jondal Tourist Information has made an overview of the 35 marked hiking trails in the municipality.
Jondal is an idyllic village located on the west side of Folgefonna, close to the Hardangerfjord. The village has a good service selection with, among other things, two grocery stores, restaurants, a football and volleyball court, a petrol station and a marina.
